Anyones get the Asmedia to work with port multiplication? So the chip doesn’t support fbs.

As far as i have found info’s on this Chipset support should be added to the 3. Elkay14 had developed a script that would enable asmedoa — I had returned my cards by the time the script came out — decided to re-order them again, and volia in the mean time I had already upgraded to 5.
Haven’t worked out how to connect a dvd to the ASMedia controller and use it under Ubutuntu, but I don’t need to do that at this stage. Sign up using Email and Password. The mvsas or other libsas based driver or 1016 open source linux sas drivers has no sata pmp at all.
Posted February 24, I hope it’s stable and has no problems. However they aren’t working out-of-the-box with unraid.
Let us linuc how it goes with two cards but I doubt you’ll have any trouble. All times are GMT. Wish they did work. But while I was researching why this wasn’t working originally with an external external port-multiplying array I did run across this on another forum.

Posted February 22, Have not tried to use the port multiplier. However quite a few errors.
There are some spare info around google about it, but nothing that fully confirms the support, the official drivers don’t support linux either. I don’t know, as Asmedia controllers aren’t commonly used. Results 1 to 1 of 1. When you access disk1, you can’t access disk2 concurrently. Ilnux link up 3.
I guess I’ll have to do a bit more reading about how to create my own kernel module based on this: If anybody else got them to work — let me know, please.
